My first book signing was on October 6th. Leading up to the book signing, the little thoughts in my head crept up with loud voices telling me how stupid this all was. How my book is trash and I'll never make it anywhere. Those thoughts were in my head up until I got into the store.
When I got in and realized that I was actually doing this. That even though my book isn't a New York Times Bestseller, I'm still doing something I love. I'm doing something I never thought I'd do. And here I was, at my first book signing at a very crowded, used book store called Dead Tree Books. It wasn't Barnes N Nobles, but it was nice and quaint and charming all around.
